We are seeking a Director of Marketing Technology & Operations to build and optimize our marketing technology infrastructure while owning the operations and performance of email, and website. In this role, you will ensure our marketing systems are scalable, integrated, and enable effective execution, while driving continuous optimization to deliver measurable impact. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and starts with a team of three direct reports. 

What You’ll Do 

Marketing Technology Stack Management 

  • Build and manage the marketing technology stack including HubSpot, CMS platform, future CRM systems, marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager), and other marketing software 

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance marketing capabilities, automation, and efficiency 

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners to ensure service quality and contract optimization 

Channel Operations  

  • Own website operations including content updates, design changes, page creation, and ongoing site maintenance to support marketing initiatives and business needs 

  • Manage operations and production for email in HubSpot, including deliverability, and technical troubleshooting 

  • Develop and optimize workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across marketing channels, ideally leveraging AI 

  • Support cross-functional stakeholders with technical enablement, training, etc. when rolling out new tools and processes 

Strategy & Performance 

  • Oversee tracking and analysis of email performance data. Recommend testing strategies to improve 

  • Oversee website performance metrics including traffic, engagement, conversion rates, page speed, and user experience, driving continuous optimization 

  • Develop and execute SEO and GEO/AEO strategies including site architecture optimization, technical SEO, content structure, and keyword targeting to drive organic traffic and search visibility 

Application Requirements 

Core Requirements  

  • Proven expertise building and managing marketing technology stacks at scale 

  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred), CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and data analytic tools (e.g. Google Tag Manager) 

  • Experience with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and web analytics (Google Analytics 4) 

  • Deep understanding of SEO principles, site architecture, and organic search optimization 

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences 

  • Knowledge of marketing compliance and data privacy regulations 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret marketing data to make informed decisions 

Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or digital marketing, with a track record of increasing responsibility 

  • Experience working in consumer subscriptions, B2B SaaS, and technology companies strongly preferred 

  • Certifications in marketing automation and project management desired
