Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
RSAC is the premier series of global events and year-round learning for the cybersecurity community. RSAC is where the security industry converges to discuss current and future concerns and access experts, unbiased content, and ideas that help individuals and companies enhance their cybersecurity posture and build stronger, smarter teams. Both in-person and online, RSAC empowers the collective “we” to stand against cyberthreats around the world. It’s the ultimate marketplace for the latest technologies, insights, and educational opportunities in cybersecurity.
RSAC Conference has been the cybersecurity industry's premier gathering for 34 years. Now, we're embarking on our most ambitious initiative yet: transforming from an annual conference into a year-round community platform that serves the global cybersecurity workforce.
We’re looking for a Manager of FP&A with a blend of investment banking rigor and growth-stage operating experience. You’ll own core corporate FP&A (budgeting, reporting, forecasting) while driving strategic initiatives (long-range planning & pricing/packaging) Ideal candidates have worked in technology/startups and are comfortable partnering cross-functionally and communicating insights at board level.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the annual operating plan and long-range plan, tying strategy to financial outcomes and unit economics.
Develop scenario models (base/upside/downside) to evaluate growth bets, hiring plans, and capital efficiency.
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations to assess pricing/packaging, market expansion, and ROI of growth initiatives.
Build/own board and investor materials (KPIs, narrative, cohort/retention, efficiency metrics).
Own the monthly forecast and variance analysis (P&L, cash flow, key drivers); explain the “why,” not just the “what.” Include risk and opportunity assessments.
Stand up scalable budgeting processes, drive accountability with budget owners across Marketing, R&D, and G&A.
Design and maintain driver-based models for revenue, headcount, COGS, and opex; translate strategy into targets and guardrails.
Build automated KPI metrics (e.g., ARR/MRR, logo & net retention, CAC/LTV, payback, pipeline coverage, gross margin, R&D/GTM efficiency).
Partner with Accounting on close and management reporting; ensure clean actuals, accruals, and cut-offs.
Support procurement reviews; improve unit economics and cash runway.
What You’ve Done:
Owned complex financial models and business cases; fluent in cohort analysis, funnel/pipeline modeling, and SaaS or tech-enabled services metrics.
Proven cross-functional partner who influences senior management with clear data-driven recommendations.
Advanced Excel (array formulas, index-match/xlookup, scenario & sensitivity analysis).
Experience preparing board materials and investor-grade analyses as well as strong communication skills to influence C-Suite decision making.
What You’ll Bring:
BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other quantitative discipline.
5–8 years total experience (Ideally a mix of investment banking and operating FP&A at a startup or growth-stage technology company).
Experience with revenue operations or sales finance; pricing strategy; international expansion preferred.
